Usernames on Golden Age testnet will not be transferred to mainnet. We have done our best to create a fair and equitable rollout of mainnet usernames, while rewarding our early adopters.
The snapshot for testnet rewards will follow when Quai Network's rewards snapshot takes place, currently scheduled for 1/15/25 (specific time TBA).
All testnet QNS holders will receive a minimum of one reward credit on mainnet, equivalent to a free 8 character domain for one year. Continue reading below to find out how to maximize your credits!

Rewards Tiers
Register usernames on Golden Age testnet to earn points towards your Rewards Tier. The higher the Rewards Tier, the more rewards earned on mainnet.

One Credit is worth the equivalent of one 8 character username registered for one year on mainnet. Please note mainnet pricing has not been finalized.

Rewards Points
Points will be awarded to a wallet based on the usernames it owns. Points are calculated based on the length of the username multiplied by the number of years registered. These Rewards Points will also count towards future QNS campaigns!

Requirements
To qualify for mainnet rewards, you must register a username on testnet for at least one year, and hold the NFT as of the snapshot date. Credits will be calculated on a per wallet basis. There will not be a claims process to receive credits, wallets cannot be combined, and credits are non-transferable.
Mainnet Username Rollout
From day one, usernames of 9 characters or longer will be available for purchase.
In order to further test pricing mechanisms and prevent foul play, usernames under 9 characters will be progressively rolled out. Early access will be granted based on Rewards Tiers and partnerships on a limited basis for each username length. After the early access period, usernames of that length will be available for purchase by anyone at the prices listed below.
Mainnet Pricing & Rollout
The pricing structure for .quai usernames on mainnet will be based on character length. Dutch auctions can be triggered by anyone and start at the first price, decaying to the second price exponentially over the time period listed.
